In fact I like new Imprezas. And I would probably be interested in the Outback provided it is a little bit bigger and looking more robust like the gen2.

FYI, the most mileage I've ever got on my 99 2.5 RS is 25mpgs... but I drive my car really hard.

Hello all,
I recently got rid of my second Subaru. After 10 years of owning Subies: '93 Legacy L, '02 Impreza 2.5 TS and '02 Outback, putting well over 300 miles on them (with my wife) I have to report I am done with them for at least a while.
I had an opportunity to get '00 MB E320T 4Matic in very good condition, low millage at good price I could not to not pass on. It is different car, but MPG wise - on 89 octane fuel , 25 highway range and average speed 55MPH I got 29.5 MPG - I figure I could never archive on neither on my Subies.
Anyways I will enjoy MB and Subaru will have to come up with something real convincing.
Best regards, Andy
