Agreed. I don't know how many times I've walked around the car pushing the button. Eventually, it has always worked but not this time. However, I went out this morning and, out of habit, hit the button and it worked. So WTF. I guess I'll have to wait and see. It could also be the shitty receiver in the car.

My 2001 has never worked properly (bought it used). Works sometimes,
sometimes not. New batteries make no difference.

I can get it to go with four or five hits standing right at the windshield.
Which, of course defeats the purpose of a REMOTE door lock if you gotta
stand right there for it to work.

I will check my valet mode, but those years, the remote/receiver combo was
crap.

Hello all, All of the sudden, I cannot unlock or lock the car with the keyless entry FOB and cannot arm the security system. It used to arm even when I used the power door lock and shut the door. No fuses are blown. Neither FOB works and one has a new battery so it isn't the battery. Any suggestions? Thanks. Jamie
