All the sensor delivers is a pulse stream to the ABS computer, which controls the ABS pump based on the difference (or worse case absence) of streams of similar frequency from each wheel. So ... on straight-ahead mode, the frequency is the same. Cornering keeps the F-R frequencies close to the same, while differing the L-R frequencies. Only when there is a marked difference eg when a wheel spins or locks does the system adjust.
