The average black American is about 30% non-African, and just 10% of
them have only African genetics.

I believe you with the not worrying about Obama, but how can you be certain
your dad is 100%?  Slaves were cattle, with no identity, so their masters
could do whatever they wanted, and they did.  I know I'm not 100%, since my
skin is way too light to be 100% African (my mother is what is known as
"high yellow", herself).  Maybe I misunderstood you - maybe you meant your
father was mostly African, as are most blacks in the U.S.?

We can agree there.

My father is full blooded African American. My mother is caucasian. I have
seen my fair share of racism growing up in Texas. With that said, no one in
my family sobs at night about Obama's safety. NO ONE!

You prove a point though. The media is feeding off of the race card.

I can tell you have never been black in America.

Blacks don't worry about Obama's safety, but the media has told them that
they do. That has to be one of the most silly stories lately. As if a people
somehow have a personal relationship with a political leader, enough to
"worry" about them.

I hope that no President is ever assasinated, but that story just made me
laugh. As soon as it was posted, you saw the boards light up with "We are
worried about Obama" posts.

This is just more proof that the media encourages everyone to feel a certain
way... creating a market for stories that they can sell...
