Re: POLO 9n 2003 rear wash wipe

Odd to have two joints come apart at the same time - are you using screenwash that protects against freezing?
My son had the joint in the rear quarter panel by the rear seat come apart in his P-reg Polo - seems a bit less than a generous length of piping is supplied there.
If the wiper gives trouble - doesn't complete a stroke or doesn't start, check out the wiring first as on older models the hatch was a favourite place for the wires to break.

Thanks again

Mine burst in the rear quarter panel. Another prob could be that the non-return valve (that keeps the fluid in the pipe) is busted you find these near the washer bottle.
I don't know if there are joints in the pipework sorry.
Hope this helps

Hi All
The rear (wash)wipe on out 2003 mdy is not working. I have been told that the pipe is liable to come apart along the route from Engine bay to rear hatch. Anyone know where the joints are and if so is it an easy job..??
Thanks
Tony
