Mine burst in the rear quarter panel. Another prob could be that the non-return valve (that keeps the fluid in the pipe) is busted you find these near the washer bottle.
I don't know if there are joints in the pipework sorry.

Hi All
The rear (wash)wipe on out 2003 mdy is not working. I have been told that the pipe is liable to come apart along the route from Engine bay to rear hatch. Anyone know where the joints are and if so is it an easy job..??
