Hi thanks for the reply. Have just had a quick look found one joint in Boot
that had come apart  and there is obviously a joint undone at the bottle
under the Battery. So that a job for this afternoon..

Thanks again

Tony

If the system is the same as the Golf, the pipes has a tendancy to split cos
the pump produces a high flow of fluid, any blockage in the pipe (ie ice at
the jet) will cause the pipe to burst.  Mine burst in the rear quarter
panel.  Another prob could be that the non-return valve (that keeps the
fluid in the pipe) is busted you find these near the washer bottle.

I don't know if there are joints in the pipework sorry.

Hope this helps

Hi All

The rear (wash)wipe on out 2003 mdy is not working.
I have been told that the pipe is liable to come apart along the route from
Engine bay to rear hatch.
Anyone know where the joints are and if so is it an easy job..??

Thanks

Tony
