Has this ever happened to anyone?
I have a 2002 Passat. Got it used a couple of months ago. It just started having this quirk with the driver's door sensor. The car indicates that the drivers door is open....when it isn't. And it won't go off now. It dings and beeps and buzzes and it REALLY ANNOYING. I can't get it to go off! Is there any quick fix to just disconnect the sensor or anything? Guy at the auto parts store said I'd have to take it to the dealer b/c the sensor is IN the door. Anybody have any advise?
