i am finally (almost) a 4runner owner!
i did a pre-purchase check at a local toyota dealer, and they told me
my "transmission fluid was dirty" and i need a flush service for $70.
with 93K miles and no record that this service was ever done before

My '98 F150 with 47,000 miles has been making a straining noise on
turns. I've had 2 different shops look at it. Both say it's a
hydraulic noise but neither said there's any problem. Basicially, I
get the noise when the system is under some pressure such as a tight

The overhead console of my 98 jeep gr. cherokee has a selection for
compass and thermometer. The thermometer has been reading -43 degrees
for weeks now.

I was driving my F150 4x4 last week and hit a curb as I was passing a
car.  I had slowed to pass the car and so wasn't going more the 20 mph
when I scraped the tire against the curb.  At that point I heard a

I have a 1995 Chevy Silverado Z71. The ride SUCKS!!! Its can actually

have had back problems and the rough ride of this truck is taking it's toll.

Can anyone recommend a good way of removing stripped Hex bolts?
When the garage put the manual locking hub cover back on my Tracker,
they tightened the bolts so tight that the one I tried to remove
stripped before budging (should have been 7 ft-lbs according to
