Don't really know where else to post this...
I'm looking at getting either a RAV-4, Forester, CRV or Grand
Vitara...probably in the 98 to '02 year range. This will mainly be my
wife's car...not expecting much off-road use.

i am looking to put a soft tonneau cover on my 04 SB siverado.  the
two that i am most interested in are: the access roll up ($380) and
the extang RT ($285).  i would greatly appreciate it if someone PLEASE
give some advise on which to chose.

I started my 97 TJ today and drove about four blocks when the dash bell
rang and the CHECK GAUGES message appeared. The voltmeter was pegged at
about 19 volts.  
So I drove the Jeep home and turned the engine off.

I have never towed my '88 S-10 4x4 stick but plan to do so for about 800
miles.
To  my knowledge, this shouldn't be a problem since it is a stick shift..
However I'm open to comments on this..

I'm looking into buying said Rover, and have been reading the posting
history on this group as related to that model.  I've seen many posts
from C. Marin Faure recommending against these LWB models on account

I just inheritated 2 Hummer mirrors from a neighbors upgrade to 600$
special heated ones! These are for trade or sale. Dick in Washington
DC area in MD.They look fine.I think they are H1 version.More info if

I have a 92 Tracker, and since the really cold weather arrived a few
weeks ago, it has been revving very high (around 2500 RPM as opposed
to around 1000 RPM usually) when I first start the vehicle.  The high
revs continues for some time afterwards, the colder it is the longer

I recently had a problem with my 95 Tahoe, and it's thermal actuator. I
replaced the unit with the stock replacement from the dealer.
I still do not have four wheel drive. The indicator light now blinks, as
opposed to blowing fuses as it did earlier.

just finished installing U-joints on my 1990 gm half-ton 4x4,automatic
transmission. First went to general motors dealer bought the
joints(guaranteed to be the right ones, would not fit, needed about an
eight inche more to get the clips in, took the yolk back to the parts
