Winch Wiring12 Jul 2004 04:54 GMT4
I notice the power and ground quick connect kits sold by Warn and others for
the 8 to 10 thousand pound winches are rated at 175 AMP and sized for #2
gauge power cable.  I figure the connects are rated for continuous duty @175
but are these components, both the connectors and cable, ...

lives in Holland.
He says that he has now found that the PTO rotates in the opposite

In relation to the others...Toyota or Nissan, between the years of
1984-1990...what would be the best truck (in your opinion)...

old truck to the Sequoia, but I can't seem to find anyone that sells

CJ abnormal brake pad wear06 Jul 2004 09:13 GMT10
While doing the spring replacement (which is about finished!!) I
noticed the inner pads on the front brakes were about worn out on both
the driver and passenger side.
I don't remember exactly when I replaced them -- but seems like 20,000
CR-V rear wheel/axle noise?06 Jul 2004 05:48 GMT3
Happy 4th everyone.
I'm in the market for a used CR-V. To date, I've test-driven two, both
5 speed manual transmission. One was a 2000, the other a 2001.
The first, the 2000, that I drove made a loud whirring/humming sound
Opinions wanted Landcruiser vs. 4runner06 Jul 2004 03:47 GMT14
I'm planning to buy a used SUV in the very near future. I'd narrowed
it down to an early 90's 4runner. When looking around, though, I
noticed one or 2 1990 Landcruisers in the same price range. Looking
for some experienced opinions on which would better suit my needs.

Jingling sound from leaf spring shackle05 Jul 2004 18:48 GMT5
My 98 Z-71 has this annoying sound like washers on a bolt everytime I go
over the railroad tracks or any bump of substance.  Last weekend while
changing the oil, I started looking at my suspension at the rear passenger
side since that seems to be where the sound is coming from.  I ...

Got the replacement rear springs on.  Not without incident and I'll report
later when project is completed.
Now the front -- old spring is off and new spring is in place.
But I cannot remove the top connecting link pin holding the connecting link

All of them were equipped with stock 4x4 systems, and none of them

Part time engine knock04 Jul 2004 04:05 GMT5
Hi Group,
   I have a 1991 GMC K-2500 with the 350 CID engine {5.7 Liter}, 217,000
miles, runs great, doesn't use oil.
It developed a water leak and the garage replaced the intake gasket.
