Recently bought 88 f-250 4x4 diesel. needs a new starter. could someone explain to me what the following descriptors of a starter are talking about: 12v, 13 tooth, 3.6kW, clockwise rotation, offset gear reduction.

I would like to install an Engine Oil Temperature Gauge in my truck 2003-silverado 2500HD 6.0 liter motor. My question is: the gauge comes with an electric sender, I would like to install it on the cool (Discharge) side of the oil cooler. Will a ?tee? fitting with the sender

about 6 mths ago we had a dead short on batt cables. Since then we have replace: starter, alt, new batts, batt cables and have done cks on fuses. The pkup has power to the system but will not turn over. We hear clicking like the cellinoid in starter working. We have hit a wall. ...

HELP!!! I am trying to rebuild my spicer 44-8FD front axle on my 87 Dodge W150. I am comfortable around tools and don't mind getting dirty... however I cannot seem to get the ring and pinion free from the housing. I have removed the bearing caps, pried, pulled, smashed, etc

Engine is 4.3L V6 Vortec fuel injected. Does anyone have a list of the diagnostic codes? Can't seem to find them in the Haynes manual. Any help would be appreciated.
