Chevrolet and the Pleasures of Owning one. We have a 1999 Chevy Blazer LS. It has always had a knocking which sounded like the exhaust was banging up against the floor of the vehicle. The dealer said it would subside after the break in.

the blazer started blowing the instament panel fuses found bad altenator and battery changed out both ran fine for a couple of days then began to do the same thing. ( blows the fuse then starts to lose engine power until it finally won't pull itself and then just dies. have to jump ...

I have a coolant leak, it is right behind the thermosta housing. Is this housing removeable. I am not talking about the hose housing but the housing the thermosta fits into. Is this housing replaceable or do I have a crack in the engine?
