I have been told that the original (maybe military version) H1 could
burn *any* kind of fuel available, including gasoline.  Since all the
original Hummers were diesel, I don't see why they couldn't burn
diesel, kerosene, jet fuel, heating oil, etc., but I can't see the same

I have a jeep Cherokee 1996 (p)
Every time I turn the ignition I blow the 40A ignition fuse, It did
this once about a year ago but hasn't happened since (until now) now it

I have a 1998 Toyota Forerunner, sport model I have been very happy
with. It has 115,000 miles on it and its getting a little old, so I am
looking to buy a new one. I don't particuarly like the new Forerunner
what with it's additional width and all the anti-drive feature

Anyone have an idea of how much a typical towing package reduces
highway gas mileage and adds to engine wear, when not towing anything?
I'm talking about on a full sized truck or SUV with a V8.  My thinking
is that the lower final drive ratio revs the engine more, increases

I need to replace the hearter core in my 97 F150. I was hoping that someone
could tell me the easiest way of getting to it. I have no heat and the
fluid is brown. I flushed it out,ran clear after about 20 mins.Now it is a
little brown and no heat.

I just traded for a nice '99 blazer. The "CHECK ENGINE" light is burning.
I had it checked this afternoon at an auto parts store. The guy said the
insturment indicated transmission ? But, that his reader wouldn't read any
more about it.

i have recently bought a 96 calibra turbo, i have left it stood for 4 weeks,
when i left it the car had good oil pressure (4-5 bar on start up and 2-3 on
warm idle) but now i have started it and guage reads over 5 bar but the oil
light is on? it goes out with a rev but comes back on ...

Im selling my jeep tj and buying a yj. I want to put 37s or 38s on it.
I think im going to need a 10 to 12 inch lift. What is the best and
cheapest way to go about this? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am looking at buying an older SUV (96 or older).  I am leaning
towards a Bronco or Suburban.  Looking for something that can carry 5
passengers, maybe haul a trailer occasionally and slight offroad.  Any
advice on what years/models to look at or avoid?  Thanks in advance for

Once in awhile I am driving along and I hear a humming noise coming from
under the rear area behind the drivers seat area. It hummmmms along and then
it just stops after a long while.
Does anyone know what the heck this is?
