Hello all,I have a warning light on that says I've a problem with my
emission system on my GV V6. Have had no joy when trying to get advice
from the dealership and am loathe to shell out loads of cash if it's
something straightforward.Any advice greatly appreciated.Cheers. Mark

my new gmc 2004 has 8.1 big motor and uses oil 1quart per 1000 miles
they say this is normal use  does any one else have this problem it has
20700 miles on it any help will be apperacited THANKS CHET

We're getting ready to replace our 2000 Explorer 4cyl, manual
trans.  I love it very much but miles are getting up there
and some rust is starting.  I can find very few suv's with
a manual trans.   Ford no longer offers one in the explorer.

Yeah, I did a very dumb thing this weekend. I lost that part thingee under
the hood. Part #710. I've been all over town looking for a replacement. I
think it could be very dangerous driving with out it. I could destroy the
engine or even cause fire. I tried Auto Zone - no luck but ...

with this "Star" bolt thing? What kind of tool do I need to remove it?

I have a Silverado with 5.7 and am having a problem with a huge leak,
it pours out the back somewhere with it running off the starter. Has
anyone had a problem like this? Thanks for any help.

I use this jeep on our farm...had a carb fire that destroyed fuel line,
some wiring.  Any chance of finding a carburetor for the old four
banger?

I have a 95 chevy s10 4X4 with a 4.3 V-6 and a 5 speed tranny. Wondering
if there is any way I can continue using the same tranny. A friend of
mine claims that I can't But I was watching tv and the guys on trucks
used the same tranny. The only difference between my application and

01 Loredo, With running lights on and press on the brake, all tail
lights go out. The hatch light works fine.  Could this be the brake
switch.  If so , what is the trick to getting the wire harness
unplugged?

just had to remove boots from spark plugs and I am having trouble
getting them back on to the point of good contact. Is a special tool
required or is there a trick to it?
