I am designing a set of nerf bars for my '96 Dodge RAM 1500 4x4. I plan on fabricating these myself. So I am looking for ideas to make these a little better than just a 4" metal tube welded to the frame. Here are some possible ideas to include:

I just bought a 2000 Nissan Frontier. I took it on a 6 hour road trip, and right at the beginning of the trip I had to put the truck in 4x4 Hi to drive over a snowy and icy pass. I shifted the 4x4 lever back to 2 Hi, but didn't realize I had to reverse the vehicle to get it out of

Hey mechanics and enthusiasts! I'm pretty new to this. Here goes... I have a 91 Cherokee Laredo I6 w/ 3"lift, 31". I love it, but I'm new to it. I'm about to upgrade the shocks to some stiffer Doetsch nitro. It sounds like a really simple job, but I'm no mechanic. As far as I

This may be a little off topic, but here goes. Many (about 20) years ago, I saw a guy using a small tractor, about the size of one of a riding mower. It had a power takeoff for a small backhoe attachment (and other goodies). It had all wheel drive, but
