I have an Old 76 GMC. Yesterday my transfer case went out it will still go forward in High Lock,High and Low lock but not in Neutral or Low. Should i buy a new transfer case or just rebuild it? And is it ok if i just drive around in High?

I am currently looking to buy a 2007 4X4 pickup. I am thinking about going with the Chevy Silverado with the 5.3L. Am I making a mistake? All suggestions would be appreciated.

Due to specific cargo needs, I am looking for a new (not used) SUV-type vehicle no smaller than a pre-2007 Honda CR-V, on which the back window opens independently of the door (not a huge problem to find) and on which the remainder of the back door opens (as on pre-2007 Honda CR-Vs) ...

The rearend on my blazer went out its a full size 5.7 ltr (350), it's a silverado 1500 edition. Looking to replace it with the same type of rearend or possibly an upgrade. Any ideas on compatible rear ends? or is it worth rebuilding. I have access to a shop and mechanics to advise

I purchased an 84 CJ7 this past summer and at the time of purchase I tested the 4wd and it seemed to work fine. I have not attempted to use the 4wd until today, as we have a large snow in the forecast so I thought I would test it out.

Its negative fourteen here in Idaho and someones car had a dead battery, so being the good guy that I am I jumped the car. Connected the terminals the best I know how....His red to my red battery post and my frame to his frame...is that right?
