Can anyone tell me the pros/cons of using most any electronic aftermarket tach with the stock 6.9 sensor as the sending unit ? Is there an issue with reading accurate RPM on anything OTHER than the stock tach ? Thanks in advance to anyone who may have done this and

I just bought a new battery ,and had the battery and alternator checked and the tech said they are both good . I had a plug in the hitch ,but have since unplugged it and the battery is still loosing charge

I have been working on my 74 CJ5 and am replacing the hacked on alternator and bracket. I received a replacement from J&W wreckers but am having trouble figuring out the correct mounting setup for it to bolt it to the motor. Does anyone have a picture or exploded view on

Having trouble finding this part. Any help appreciated. 1990 Wrangler, 6cyl, 4.2, a/c, automatic, serpantine belt. Harmonic Balancer. Everyone seems to have the one for the 4cyl or for the 6cyl 4.0, but not mine.

i have a 1989 s10 blazer 4x4 w/ a 4.3l. the battery light goes on and off. when it goes on the volts jump and the dash lights and the headlights get really bright. when it goes off the lights and dash go back to normal. is this the battery or the altenator or something else?

Can anyone offer advice or help. We bought a P reg 2.5dse RR last year. It has been a nightmare with so much going wrong. The latest thing is the main computer. We have been quoted £1000 to replace. Does anyone know whether the computer can be fixed or do we need to buy a new one.
