Just got a '97 2.2CL premium 5sp. with 96, yes 96K miles - like it a

1. Where can I find proper exhaust tips? Not the pimped-out kind, just

Cloud of smoke from engine!!!!! ('03 TL)27 Nov 2003 18:57 GMT6
I just had my 2003 TL serviced the other day (the 30k mile service
package).  After picking my car up from the dealer, I took a  trip to
another town for a meeting.  After driving for about 45 minutes or so...I
was getting off on the offramp when a huge cloud of white smoke came ...

Will a transmission for a 1994 1.8 work in a 1992 1.8?
Joined Transmission Crowd23 Nov 2003 01:34 GMT1
Well, my wife's 2002 TL-S just joined the failed auto transmission
crowd at about 28K miles.  I've been waiting since about 25K miles.
There were a few hiccups over the past 2 months but yesterday it
really bit it.  Luckily, my wife was able to get to the Acura dealer

Vigor Brake Question, Ackgod maybe21 Nov 2003 23:27 GMT2
Can the brake rotors be replaced by aftermarket supply?  My cousin "Acura
Tech" is adamant about using only acura parts and that is driving me into
the poor house even with his discount.  I have seen rotors on ebay for 40
bucks a set or as high as 90 bucks a set which beats the hell ...
Recall:  Timing Belt Tensioner '03 CL21 Nov 2003 09:07 GMT5
I just got a recall notice that says, "the timing belt tensioner can lose
oil and if enough oil is lost the timing belt loosens and causes engine

About the 5W-20 Oil Recomendation21 Nov 2003 09:00 GMT4
I read that long thread about which oil grade is best for the new
Acuras (which Acura specifies to use 5W-20) and I decided to use
Mobil1 0W-30 for my 2003 TL.  I agree with the reasoning that
