Does anyone know if there is a simple way to add the daytime running light
feature to my 2004 TL (automatic w/o nav)?  I know the Canadian version has
DRL's, but no fog lights. They might be using the fog lights for the DRL's.
I would be willing to give up the fog lights since they ...

Hi, I got a 1999 Acura TL. I got new brakes a week ago after the brake lamp
turned on. But, now even though the brakes are new, the brake lamp light is
still there. Can any one help me turn the brake lamp light off?

I'm no mechanic, but I guess my '92 Teg's PCV valve was NEVER replaced. (?)
I tried my best without breaking it to remove it on my own, but went ahead &
had a mechanic do it with an oil change. He said he finally got it out----in
pieces. Is this common, or just a real old PCV valve? ...

Bought a new oil filter from Acura for my 99 Integra. Found out that Acura
has changed the oil filter for all Acuras. The new filter is smaller and
requires a new oil filter wrench. Had a hard time finding an oil filter
wrech that fits but eventually ordered one from NAPA auto parts ...

Hey all, I have an '01 Integra with 43,000km on it.  The maintenance light
recently came on.  Is this linked to a sensor, or is it just reminding me
to do something?  If so, what?  Also, how do I turn it off?

Seems I recall the alternator acting up and needing replacement once
before after jumping my wifes battery from the integra.  This old dog
didnt learn and I think I've done it again.  
Battery light came on intermitently after jumping her battery.  Later

How difficult is it to replace the brake pads on a 99 Integra? I've been
reading the Haynes manual and it looks fairly straight forward. I'm
mechanically inclined but I've never working on the brakes before.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.

I've been having a problem with the driver's seat in my TSX moving forward
when performing hard or sudden braking. I took it to the dealer, and they
told me that they all do that. They suggested test driving another TSX to
prove their point, but I declined.

Have a 00 3.2 TL w/moonroof that has started 'creaking'.  I saw that there
was a TSB out on this (00-023), but haven't been able to see the actual
TSB.

I'm thinking of purchasing an Acura MDX 2004 w/NAV and DVD.  Any thoughts on
whether the vehicle is what you expected?  I live in Maryland near
Crofton/Bowie.  Did anyone receive a really good deal and can recommend a
specific dealer?

Realizing that color choice is subjective - I am looking at 2004 TL's and
having a difficult time deciding on a color choice.  Torn between Abyss
Blue, Anthracite & the Gold (forgot the name).

The literature and filler area specify 91 octane only.
Aside from less power, what are any specific downsides to 89 or 87
octane gas.  The engine doesn't appear to ping at all (automatic
timing, perhaps).

When I took my 2000 Acura 3.2 TL for servicing, the Midas guy advised
changing the brake pads and machining the disc surface.
The dealers ask for about $ 280 for each side including parts and
labor. I am considering buying better quality pads on the internet

I remember some time ago hearing about xenon headlights on Nissan
Maximas being stolen very frequently. Perhaps it was partially due to
the design of the headlights, making them 'easy' to remove and steal.
