broken spark plug - ceramic around electrode31 Jan 2005 15:29 GMT3
My car wouldn't start the other day. Today I pulled the plugs and found that
one of them had the ceramic broken off. The part that broke off is the
portion in the cylinder around the electrode. I assume this would cause the
plug to be unable to spark. I can't see any fragments in ...
Cabin air filter30 Jan 2005 18:25 GMT1
Does anyone know where the cabin air filter is on a 94 Integra LS (it does have one, right?) and how much destruction is involved in changing it? The repair manual doesn't mention anything about it.
Thanks!

2001 TL Tire Questions30 Jan 2005 02:44 GMT2
Can I put 225/55R16 on my TL? What will be the effect on gas mileage?
On steering? Handling?

Acura TL gas pedal feel29 Jan 2005 17:03 GMT6
Does the TL have an electronic gas pedal..?
I ask becasue the feel of it isn't quite "normal."  It seems as if a lot of
pressure, compared to other cars, is necessary to maintain freeway speeds.
Even our Pilot SUV, which is 1000 lbs heavier with less power, runs the
Moonlight Mechanic29 Jan 2005 06:25 GMT1
I needed some OEM car parts (rotors, because left my pads on too long. They
also have aftermarket parts) the other day and searched around and found a
website called Moonlight Mechanic. They have great prices and plenty of
choices. The site is layed out very well also. The shipping ...
Heads for a D16A1 motor (87 Integra LS)29 Jan 2005 01:03 GMT1
Stupid question: would the head off a 1988 Integra D16A1 fit a 1987
D16A1 block or they are somehow different? What about the head of a 1990
Integra B18 motor?
Integra radio code27 Jan 2005 21:26 GMT5
How do you find out the code for a factory radio in a 1999 Integra? We
bought the car used for my daughter and it didn't come with any manuals or
code card. She now has a "system" but it would be nice to sell the original
radio or use it again.
Best Service in the NoCal Bay Area (San Jose)?27 Jan 2005 04:17 GMT1
I've just purchased a 96 Integra with 81K miles on it. It having had a
couple of owners, I was contemplating doing the 90K service on the
early side (according to this model's owner's model, that's the one
with the timing belt change, so I assume it's pricey).
Timing belt for 98 Integra GS-R25 Jan 2005 16:15 GMT5
Anyone tell me when the appropriate time for a timing belt change should be
for my 98 Intregra GS-R?
The manual states 60,000.
Other Honda owners say 90,000.
2005 TL and wife loves it.....23 Jan 2005 18:07 GMT4
Well, I bit the bullet and let my wife replace my Firehawk with a new Acura
TL!  I will miss my 357 rwhp red toy, but she'll be happy for a few months
anyway.
Hope she loves "her car" as much as I loved my 2002 Firehawk!
2004 Acura TL Vs. 2004 Infinity G35 Sedan23 Jan 2005 17:11 GMT41
It is almost the time to turn in my beloved 2000 Acura Integra GS-R. That
said, I am in the market for a new car. I had a few choices that have been
discarded such as: BMW 325i, Audi A4 1.8T, and the Nissan Maxima. Now I am
really torn between the the TL and the G35. I have driven ...
OK - New to Acuras - Got some noob type Questions23 Jan 2005 16:47 GMT1
My buddy picked up an 88 Integra, 5 door. Nice car. Some Questions:
- What digit in the VIN verifies the Model Year? (It was built in January.)
- If this thing _is_ an 88 then the motor in it is a 1.6 D16A1, right?
Yes, No, Maybe?

social commentary, performance art or smut?20 Jan 2005 14:40 GMT1
I just came across the website for a video called "hunting for bambi".
>From the looks of it, it seems to be a low-brow stab at the OLN/Playboy
genres of cable networks, but also comes across as a misogynist
celebration of gun culture. Does anybody have any insight or opinions
Annoying Rattle19 Jan 2005 23:48 GMT4
My '01 TL is making a crackling sound somewhere around the rear
window. Any ideas what it could be?

I put 2 and 2 together and got 22.
