There was lots of water from heavy rain.
When I opened the hood, a splash of water dropped onto the alternator.
Will this likely cause any problem ?

Question on air compressor19 Jan 2006 04:49 GMT22
Hi there, fellow car enthusiasts!
I am looking for a simple air compressor to do simple house work,
nothing too heavy duty. Also, I do not really need to have full
continuous operation as long it can spray a few things in, say,
2000 Acura 3.2 TL tire recommendations and brake distance question19 Jan 2006 03:15 GMT6
My original Michelin MXV4 Plus have worn out, oly after 53000 miles.
Can someone recommend replacements? I am not a very aggressive driver,
and don't even need the V rated speeds.
I heard some remarks from the tire sales people, that I want to
advice on a 91 integra18 Jan 2006 23:47 GMT3
I was hoping someone could give me a little advice. I am looking at
buying a 91 integra LS. It is a manual transmission with 224K miles.
The timing belt was replaced at 190k. There is only one owner and he
has kept all the service records that show that he has stayed on top of
1990 GS ideling problem when warm, need help18 Jan 2006 23:29 GMT6
To the expert out there:
I have a 1990 Acura Integra GS with Ideling problem.  The car will warm up
to normal temperature and the idel will still be around 1500 rpm.  When in
Drive, it revs around 1100 rpm and when you put the car in neutral, the
2002 rsx cd head unit - Aux jack?18 Jan 2006 16:13 GMT3
I thought someone here might know. My girlfriend has a 2002 RSX with a
standard "acura" cd player... no changer. Is it adaptable in the rear
to some sort of cable to allow an auxilliary input? I wanted to hook up
an mp3 player through an aux input like my car cd player has in the
2005 Acura TL with valve rattle18 Jan 2006 03:38 GMT1
I bought a 2005 Acura TL back in October 2005.  From the time I picked up the
vehicle, the engine always ran rough until it warmed up.  It clattered
something terrible in the mornings.  I attributed to the thin oil and the car
not being broke in yet.  As I had gotten several hundred ...
'06 TL Sedan tires17 Jan 2006 11:30 GMT6
Test drove a bunch of cars over the weekend as we are handing down the
wife's trusty Forrester to my Daughter. The best of the bunch so far were
the Acura TL and the Accord sedan. Loved both, BTW.
About the only negative I could find anywhere about the TL was a reviewer
Leaking strut on 2001 Acura EL 1.717 Jan 2006 02:42 GMT10
I took my 2001 Acura EL 1.7 in for regular service (odometer 109,335 Km) and
noted that I was hearing a clunking sound from the left-front when going
over small bumps. After the service, I was informed that I had a strut that
was leaking badly and that it would need replacing, ...

'91 Integra brake pad? piston? rotor15 Jan 2006 04:40 GMT2
Wow! the problems are coming fast & furious now. My daughter  reports,
and I just checked, a hissing/slighly grating noise right front wheel
on braking. She noticed it on hard braking. I took the car out briefly,
hard braked, nothing. Next brake hiss/grate sound easily heard right
bigger tires, 2003 TL?14 Jan 2006 11:12 GMT4
2003 TL, bought used last year, love the car (despite needing a new
transmission, as many do).
The standard tires are 205/60R16, and compared with my previous Pontiac
Grand Prix GT, which as 225's, I'm pretty sure I can feel the difference.
Throttle14 Jan 2006 02:12 GMT6
Well I had my tires replaced today and I told the guy about this werid
sound coming from the car and he said it could be the throttle.
I don’t know to much about cars but is this something to be worried
about?

SRS indicator warning came on12 Jan 2006 23:50 GMT1
The SRS indicator light is on constantly in my 2000 TL. I'm considering 1) a
piece of black tape 2) taking the car to the dealer. Any other ideas?
