Acura Service Types09 Oct 2006 15:55 GMT1
I just had a "Type 2" done to my car. It cost me $119 plus tax. It
took the guy 30 minutes at $80 an hour, plus $20 in parts, which
should have cost me half that price.
Those service "packages" are a rip-off.

The owner's contains the following text regarding the timing belt:
The timing belt should normally be
replaced at the intervals shown in
the maintenance schedule.
Daytime Running Lights?09 Oct 2006 03:52 GMT10
Could someone please confirm for me if US sold TL's have Daytime
Running Lights.
I was investigating buying a buddy's car and bringing it to Canada, and
the DRL's would remove one issue.
2002 TL wiper arm travel06 Oct 2006 14:22 GMT1
Is there any adjustment to limit the travel of the wiper arms? I have
recently noticed that the wiper arms in my 2002 TL seem to travel a bit too
far.  When the driver's arm has traveled as far as it can go, it gets pretty
close to the left edge of the windshield on the driver's ...
Kudos and Much Thanks to this Group06 Oct 2006 13:45 GMT2
Thanks to all of the contributors to this group. With your help I was able
to get all of the electrical problems fixed on my wife's '90 Integra GS.
Replacing the ICU repaired the flashing oil light, inoperative rear
defroster grid, intermittent wipers, and occassional sporadic ...
98 Integra Gas Cap06 Oct 2006 00:56 GMT2
I had a problem with the CEL coming on here and there with my 98 Integra...
we'd tighten it down and reset and it'd be fine for a while.  Recently i had
to have an emissions test done and they discovered it was a bad gas cap -
the rubber seal was failing.  Is this normal for a ...
2003 TL Type S Accessories05 Oct 2006 02:19 GMT2
The front, side, and rear underbody spoilers--are these merely cosmetic or
do they improve aerodynamics and/or save gas?
ABS Warning '95 Integra04 Oct 2006 23:56 GMT1
My '95 Integra is showing an ABS warning light.  It comes on
after the car is moving a few mph and stays on.  From reading
other posts this possibly indicates a bad sensor.  I replaced
the battery yesterday which didn't cure it so, unlike another
Charging problem in 87 legend?03 Oct 2006 04:02 GMT2
Looking for some feedback regarding a recent incident with my 87 legend.
Having been left idling with the stereo running, and the headlights on for
approximately 45 minutes in approx -10 Celcius weather, the headlights
seemed dim from the outside as I approached, and when I got in ...
'87 Acura Legend, front axle replacement03 Oct 2006 03:54 GMT2
I just bought this car and the front right axle needs to be replaced.  I
have already bought a rebuild  axle, but I'm totally clueless as to how to
put it in.
I want to be able to work on my car myself, but I'm a girl and I need some
Integra 91 I have a  worn ignition switch02 Oct 2006 06:30 GMT12
The key goes in but doesn't rotate to any position
What should be the normal procedure?
If I replace the lock, I have to replace all other locks
I wonder if I just get a new key from the Acura people , it will last
Climate Control01 Oct 2006 01:37 GMT4
I have an '01 TL. Under good weather conditions, I usually set the
ventilation system to auto, but I turn off the AC. But with the AC
turned off like that, it is near impossible to clear the fog from the
windows when it's rainy and damp. I discovered today that the best
