I am surprised by the Timing belt business, all Honda cars, including
Acura, need timing belt replacement near 80,000 miles, I am wondering
why the ^%$# manufacturers don't want to make the belt with better
material that lasts for life time of the car.

I've got a new problem with the heater - it works ok most of the time,
but when I'm stopped at a light, the air blowing out of the vents turns
cold. When I pick up speed again it heats back up. Odd - it didn't used
to do this. Any ideas?

I know the book says to get the HID lights changed at the dealer but has
anyone attempted it on their own?  Mine went out yesterday.

Just recently aquired a 1988 Acura Integra, It's in pretty good shape but a
few of the most serious issues that seem to arise are
1.  The car has OBVIOSLY been lowered by a do-it-yourselfer, It is so low
the catalytic converter is about 3 inches off the ground, when you run

'06 TL NAV, stock, took delivery in 02/06 if that helps and it has about
17,500 miles on the clock, twice in the past month and a half my battery has
punted, once leaving the starter clicking and once enough to turn the
starter over but not fast enough to catch any spark I guess. ...

Pulled the hatch lever to open it &  "cable" broke or came loose.  It
will not release the lock so need to open with the key.
Whats involved to replace it?  BIG thanks!!!!

I have a 99 TL. All 4 brake lights are not working. The center window
brake light works. The running / parking lights work. Checked the
fuses, OK. Replaced all 4 lights. Any suggestion, what is the problem.
