Was touting my Alfa 147 Selespeed round the Mitsubishi dealers to see what
trade-in I'd get for my 147 Sele, one dealer phones AR to see what he could
sell it onto them for, and the Alfa guy says, 'we won't buy them as the

I have a tedious problem, I have a uk spec 156 with alpine changer and
radio.
For some strange reason my radio keeps cutting out after  30 secs to 2
minutes.

My 156 is due a service and I was just wondering where is best to get
it serviced in Dublin?  I thinking of taking it back to where I bought
it, but it isnt an Alfa dealer, this doesnt bother me too much, but I
would like to know if there is somewhere I should avoid or go to.

I took an opportunity to go to the Sydney Motor Show (Australia) last
night, expecting to sit in a few of my favourite types of car.  Well I
did that and more.  I got the absolute best value for money out of the

Has anyone managed to fix the damn speedo in these things and had it last
more than about 3months? I get a feeling It's going to be a learn and do it
yourself job to get it right 3 mechanics have had a go it get going then
drops out.

Drove home from Cornwall to Hertfordshire on Thursday in my 155 2.5 V6 -
rain all the way and wipers on continuously. About 2 miles from home the
rain stopped and I tried to turn the wipers off. No joy, they just kept
going at a constant speed no matter what position the switch was ...

My wife has a GTV 2.0 TS, which we bought without a spare wheel, just a can

is a new owner of an 1.8TS SW I suddenly ran into electronic
difficulties. The other day power was lost for all panel instruments,
the rear lights, the small front lights and according to the guys from
the dutch "wegenwacht" (road assistance?) the generator wasn't charging

They work fine, but on all the other 164's I've owned / used / abused when
you switch the wipers off they bugger off out of view. The ones on mine
don't, they sit just that bit too high on the windscreen. Not a major
problem, I know, but is there an adjusting screw or a microswitch ...
