I have a tedious problem, I have a uk spec 156 with alpine changer and radio. For some strange reason my radio keeps cutting out after 30 secs to 2 minutes.

My 156 is due a service and I was just wondering where is best to get it serviced in Dublin? I thinking of taking it back to where I bought it, but it isnt an Alfa dealer, this doesnt bother me too much, but I would like to know if there is somewhere I should avoid or go to.

is a new owner of an 1.8TS SW I suddenly ran into electronic difficulties. The other day power was lost for all panel instruments, the rear lights, the small front lights and according to the guys from the dutch "wegenwacht" (road assistance?) the generator wasn't charging

They work fine, but on all the other 164's I've owned / used / abused when you switch the wipers off they bugger off out of view. The ones on mine don't, they sit just that bit too high on the windscreen. Not a major problem, I know, but is there an adjusting screw or a microswitch ...
