Found out my 1997 1.6TS has got heated mirrors, realised that after lots of
steam coming off them this morning and melted ice when i turned on the rear

This summer I bought a brand new A147 120PS and I noticed that the
waist-rest regulator is missing (it should be similar to the drivers seat
tilt lever, only smaller). Does anyone know if this is usual for new 147s or

Well I've done it and finally jumped in at the deep end!  I've purchased my
first sports car and it's a GTV V6 24v 3.0 Lusso (used).  I test drove it a

I have a '99 166 2.5 V6 and my dealer recently fitted 4 new Michelin tires
to replace my worn out Pirelli's.
Since then I noticed that the back-end break out when I hit bumps, ridges or
potholes. Even at slow speed (30-40Km/h) the back makes a small side step.

My dealer here in Stuttgart is offering an 147 1.6, three years old
and 62.000 km on the clock. That's a lot comparing to the others
occasions but she has all extras apart a navi. Nice!

Although I normally read here I now have a very weird problem.
The wife's 146 has a weird turning signal thing. What I've seen:
- whenever I drive this car in the morning I've never had a problem

My Alfa 156 1.8TS is making some strange noises at the front, more noticeably
in damaged roads and bumpers.
There are 2 noises:
- The first one is a "squeek" whenever I hit a bumper in the road (more loud

Two problems on my 1997 2l ts gtv
1. airbag warning light on dash -dealer wants me to spend ?400 on a new
airbag ECU... any suggestions?
2. knocking noise from the front right when accelerating ... wtf?????

The one annoying and recurring problem I've had with my 147 lusso is
activation ofthe airbag warning light.  Various dealers have had
various attempts, but it is on again (half way home from the dealer
that reset it this morning).

every minor hole on the road shakes the car completly, it feels like there
are no springs.
the shock absorbers seems to be fine.
