| ICS Screen in 166 | 12 Feb 2004 09:23 GMT | 3 |
I'm almost about to buy a 28,000 mile 166 2.0 twin spark, but there's one thing wrong with it. The back light for the centre console screen is broken. Does anyone have any experience of mending such a beast, and if so should I be worried about anything.

| Bodywork Repair in Lancashire? | 11 Feb 2004 23:54 GMT | 2 |
I have just noticed a couple of stone chips in the roof of my 156, and one of them has "bubbled" a wee bit too. Could some-one recommend a repairer? Is there a "dent-buster" style service near Clitheroe in Lancahire? Regards

I just bought an 89' 33ie and I am having problems starting it. This has happened twice - I go to start it and the engine wont turn over. I can hear the fuel pump start but the engine doesn't start at all. All lights activate on the dash, but no response from the engine.

| Alfetta GTV door locks | 10 Feb 2004 23:52 GMT | 2 |
Went to lock the GTV (Alfetta, 1982 model) last night only to find that the barrel had fallen inside the door. The lock mechanism still works as I can lock the door from the inside so I'd guess all that's happened is whatever holds the barrel in place has fallen off. Can anyone ...

A colleague of mine has a 145 that has filled with water (seemingly in the passenger footwell). Any pointers on where he should look for blocked drainage holes or leaky seals? When bearing right water is visible trickling down the rubber mat from behind the back of the dash. (This ...

| 156 2.4 JTD wearing out rapidly! | 09 Feb 2004 16:24 GMT | 3 |
My car is out of guarantee in April, and has recently starting making a whining noise. I booked it in to the dealer to sort out, and asked them to look out for anything else that needed doing under guarantee while they were at it.

| 2600 Sprint Zagato (should I buy, what could it be worth?) | 09 Feb 2004 01:22 GMT | 10 |
It took me forever to find out even what this car I had found was. The owner wouldn't let me within 20 feet of it. After 2 years of me offering him $3500 cash, the crazy old coot sold it to a parts yard. I can buy it from them for $600. Anyway, its a 2600 SZ. How much should I ...

| Update on 1965 2600SZ | 09 Feb 2004 01:21 GMT | 1 |
Turns out I may have lucked upon a "stolen" car. The person that has the car has now put it into hiding, and the story he told me about selling it to a parts yard was to throw me off. I'm now having the DMV do a title search based on the first 7 digits of the VIN so I can find ...

| Haunted 147? | 08 Feb 2004 23:01 GMT | 4 |
My 10 month old 147's rear passenger side window has started to mysteriously open by itself while I'm driving around. If I 'wiggle' the connection by the door it starts working again so it's probably just a loose connection. I'll let the garage look at it anyway as it's still under ...
