| 156 Selespeed performance | 05 Apr 2004 20:20 GMT | 8 |
Can someone stop my paranoia. I have a 3 year 2.0L Selespeed with 14,000 miles and FSH. I just don?t think its giving top performance. After many attempts my best 0-60 is 9.8s, I know in no racing driver but I would expect to get nearer the quoted 8.6s.

My 156 bonnet will not open by pulling the interior catch release. Is there a way of opening it by releasing the catch at the bonnet itself? Many thanks.

| Advice needed: 155 DTM To buy or not to buy ;) | 04 Apr 2004 23:58 GMT | 4 |
I have never owned an Alfa, perhaps never will. What I have in mind is Alfa 155 2.0 1992-1994. Expencive to maintain? Fun to drive? Found a DTM from mobile.de but it has faulty engine and it costs as much as the car itself. What's the difference between 155 DTM and regular 155?

| 156 Water in Driver Door | 04 Apr 2004 19:34 GMT | 2 |
Water is getting into the driver's door externally through the rubber seal against the window (tested with hosepipe). It then seeps out of the door inside at the bottom, where the door panel meets the metal. The water is then seeping over the door frame seal and onto the floor ...

| Pirelli P-Zero replacements | 03 Apr 2004 17:58 GMT | 23 |
My wife has eaten through a set of front p-zeros in her GTV 2.0 in about 6000 miles. Which either means she is racing the local Nova boys at the lights again (quite likely) and/or they don't wear too well. They are both evenly worn - no tracking issues.

I have a problem with my 156 at the moment. It is a 2001 2.0ts with manual gear box. Twice in the last week I have been unable to change into 3rd gear, all other gears are fine, but when I try change into 3rd it is like it is blocked and the gear lever will not slide in.
