I've heard people say that a '72 to '74 Spider bumper is a good

Hello again
As mentioned in a previous post, I'm a complete newbie, not only to Alfas
but to cars in general (only owned a car for a year). So I have a few
questions.... They will probably seem daft, but here goes anyway.

The gear knob on my new (but used) 156 is in a bit of a mess - worn a
numbers coming off. Does anyone have any experience of removing these
and replacing with another ? Is it easy ? I have tried to (very)gently
screw but with no luck.. Do I just need to get more agressive with it ...

I have very recently bought my first Alfa ( an 03 166 2.5 V6 24v).
I understand I need to give it Selenia 20K 10W40 oil, is this easy to pick
up from most car shops, etc,

off, but more importantly I have the dealership registration document.

After selling my lovely 75 v6 I needed a diesel because of travelling from
London to Devon and  have decided to be sensible and get a 164 3.0 super

Im hoping you can help, I own a Alfa GTV which has been causing me
some problems just of late. There is a ticking noise coming from the
engine, I have taken it to a garge in Nuneaton who told me it must

I've just got myself a 3 year old 147 1.6 and would appreciate some help
with a couple of questions I have.
Firstly, when I first filled her up with fuel, the fuel warning lamp started
to flash. The flashing stopped the day after but then started again the day

I'm sorry, this is the third time I post this quest...but I'm worried; my
156 in the traffic - with outside temp of about 30?-35?C heats up to about
100?C, with both fan on. If I use the A/C, the temp remains at 90. And it
reaches 90?C in very low time, about 7-10 minutes of driving ...
