| 146 Question | 04 Jun 2004 20:01 GMT | 9 |
Just bought a 1997 P 146 1.8TS without seeing it (I know, but the old 'must have Alfa' mist descended on me). Got it cheap enough ?1000 plus tax. It's champagne with black velour. What differences are there between this and my old 146 1.6TS please guys?

| Slightly O/T, but... | 04 Jun 2004 18:23 GMT | 6 |
A friend/neighbor acquired a '79 Fiat Spider a few months ago (October), for next-to-nothing. Body in fair shape (no GAPING holes), interior nice, engine not running... supposedly some "electrical trouble." She thought it would be a bit of this-an'-that to get it going, so being ...

Went to see the guy that used to look after all my cars today. Although he's not in the trade anymore, he still has the passion Currently he has what looks like a *very* tidy 75 TS that he's looking to sell on.

| Tyre profile | 04 Jun 2004 07:13 GMT | 4 |
Me and my 146 live in France and for some reason the size of tyre we require 195 x 15 x 55 is double the cost of a similar tyre with a profile of 50 or 60. Would anyone know any reasons why I shouldn't fit a different profile tyre.

| Fuel Injector problem | 01 Jun 2004 21:18 GMT | 1 |
It happens to the best of us, I ran out of gas. But after a bit of a walk I put in some fuel, to find the Fuel Injector light remains on and the car will not run well. With the right amount of thotlle I can get a good smooth 1000RPM, but any more throttle and the car revs between ...

| New or Second hand 156? | 01 Jun 2004 08:04 GMT | 4 |
I'm in the process of looking for a replacement for a very high milage VW Scirocco, and finding that there are so few cars around with any semblance of style (and that I can afford), that the 156 and the Jag X-type, have come up as the only options. One of the most important
