Lotus Seven20 Aug 2004 22:54 GMT22

engine designs around.  Pity then that Lotus 7 kits such as Cats and Westies
don't have them fitted instead choosing mass-produced Ford/Vauxhall units
where the pants have to been revved off them to get ...

Alfa 156 2.5 Vs 2.019 Aug 2004 11:39 GMT19
Hi all, Im after a bit of advice as to what 156 to buy. I have been

the 2.5 isn't that much quicker than the 2.0 TS. I am after a quickish
car sub 8secs to 60, but don't want to fork out the extra on a v6 if

I've just bought a 156 SW M-jet, and I was wondering if anyone knew
where I could get a copy of the English manual in pdf format ? I already
have the paper copy, and I will scan it in if I have to, but naturally
I'd rather not re-invent the wheel.
That would be 3 Alfas then......16 Aug 2004 21:16 GMT5

The problem is: Starting the engine with the aircon turned on, the pipe leading
away from the compressor gets cold quite fast but just for a few seconds. Then

Took a GT 2.0 JTS out for a test drive on Saturday, thought I'd share
my opinions with the group (for what they are worth!), I would welcome
other people's opinions, as I am very seriously thinking of buying.
My comparisons are to my current steed - 147 1.6 lusso.

Alfa GT - Alfatex quality control problems?13 Aug 2004 20:29 GMT6
I went to my local showroom to order a new GT in Sterling Gret metallic with
the Light Grey Alfatex and black/grey dash (UK colour code 127).
Turns out that although this option is in the brochures, Alfa are no longer
offering this colour combination as an option.
