Does anyone know of any pictures on the web of the GT with the
optional (in the UK at least) 17" 5 hole alloys.

Have just bought a late 2002 2L TSpark - fantastic car- but here in
Australia the 147 comes with only an immobiliser.

I have just bought one an Alfa 2600 sprint based on looks and condition...so
it might be a little late to ask.
Are these cars any good  to drive?. What is the parts availability like ? Is
the engine common to any other model.

I'm in Australia. The Alfa GT has come out last month
and the only version we get is the V6 which is the one
that I'm really after anyhow.

This story came up the last few weeks and is becoming more and more a real

I've finally decided it's time to own an Italian car, and the 156 seems to

I thought to try fix some minor scratches myself. But there is no color code
label anywhere in the trunk. My 'users manual' in french and looking at

The 36K service is due on my 2.0 156, and I have noted that there is some
variance over the timing belt issue.
The dealer (Caledonia in Preston), has given me a price of ?360 for the
service, but told me that they only "check" the belt, as it is replaced at

What a great car ! - I have just completed about 1500 miles to France and
back for my hols. On the autoroutes , etc I set the cruise control to about
136KM and got about 28MPG over a 1000 miles - pretty good going considering
the car was fully loaded with suitcases, etc plus 4 ...

My car (156 2.0TS, yr 2000, 50000mls) has a problem starting when hot
(i.e after it has been running for a while). It started happenning a
few weeks ago and seems to be getting worse. Once it cools down, it
starts fine, and it runs perfectly when hot. It just won't start again
