| GT - Fuel consumption | 28 Jan 2005 16:32 GMT | 11 |
I know its an ALFA and fuel consumptions do not really come into it, but my 156 2.0 TS never did worst than 26mpg whatever the type of driving. I am interested if anyone with a 2.0 JTS GT has any fuel consumption figures to compare. Well mine has 1600miles on the clock , so far I ...

| 147 Rear Hatch Glass | 28 Jan 2005 14:11 GMT | 9 |
The rear screen of my 2002 147 seems to have spontaneously shattered some time today! On closer inspection is appears to have broken from the inside out, rather than had something thrown/banged against it from the outside. As no replacement glass is available locally the car's going ...

| 156 door speakers | 25 Jan 2005 13:12 GMT | 2 |
In previous discussions on here, it was said that intermittent front door speakers in the 156 were often due to a dirty connector between the door wiring and the stereo wiring. Can anyone tell me whether the connector lives in the door or is it behind the trim in the footwell? I ...

Yes, I have 4 Pirelli P6000 185/60/14 tyres that have over 6mm of tread. They are on 14" Fiat/Alfa wheels. I'm happy to GIVE THEM AWAY as I need the room in my shed! The lucky 'collector' will need to travel to Havant (Near Portsmouth) to

| 2.4JTD Clutch | 18 Jan 2005 22:11 GMT | 2 |
I have a 2001 156 2.4JTD, with 78,000 miles (125,000Km) on the clock. I have noticed that the clutch has begun to smell of burning when the engine is under load, although it doesn't seem to slip much - 90mph (145kmh) is at 3,000 rpm as it always has been.

| 2.4JTD Gearbox | 18 Jan 2005 22:07 GMT | 1 |
My car is a 2001 156 2.4JTD (140bhp). The gearlever has recently stopped centring itself on the 3rd/4th gear plane which makes changing gear a bit more difficult. Occasionally I select 1st when I want 3rd, and 2nd when I want 4th - not ideal!

| social commentary, performance art or smut? | 18 Jan 2005 21:35 GMT | 1 |
I just came across the website for a video called "hunting for bambi".
>From the looks of it, it seems to be a low-brow stab at the OLN/Playboy genres of cable networks, but also comes across as a misogynist celebration of gun culture. Does anybody have any insight or opinions
