whining from my power steering 156 v610 Apr 2005 21:26 GMT1
Yesterday my '99 156 V6 Steering started whining at low speed/revs but

noticeable , as is a slight intermittent vbration through the wheel.
As an alpha newbie I was wondering how easy it is to check the steering

I need to install a manual choke on these carburetors.
I ordered a book but it doesn't say anything about chokes.  I need to

I am considering buying a second hand Alfa GT (probably the diesel), I
love the look of the car and have always enjoyed driving Alfas.  I am
however slightly concerned as to what the depreciation is expected to

156 2.0 Idle Problem08 Apr 2005 20:49 GMT2
My X plate 156 has an intermittent idle problem. A couple of times whilst on
a journey it has refused to idle and instead will stall at traffic lights
etc. It will restart as long as you give it some gas and drives as normal
until the next time you come to a stop. The problem ...

with 2.0 JTS engine? I've heard it's fast, but could you tell me sth more
about it? Fuel consumption, reliability, etc.
Thanks for all answers

Front lower wishbone Powerflex bushes07 Apr 2005 08:23 GMT4
Can anyone tell me how to mount those bushes properly? I'm a little bit
concerned because those bushes aren't screwed. I read that I should
hammer them on wishbone. Will it be enough? Will it not fall apart when
driving?
Looking to buy a 15606 Apr 2005 22:34 GMT28
With a budget of up to ?6,000UKP what would the group consider my best buy?
I'm leaning towards a 2000-2001 Velococe and I'd like a 1.8 but I'm not
seeing many available, unless I want to travel a bloody long way.
I'm going to take a look at a 1.6 2001 (Y) with 56Kon the clock, ...
Dealer Recommendations06 Apr 2005 16:41 GMT3
Being an owner living in Gloucestershire, some of you may have heard that
the local AR dealer (Cleveley Cars, Cheltenham) has closed.
As I see it, this leaves me with two options:
1.    I can use one of the five dealers in the area for servicing, etc.
Brake lights fail / tails lights on permanently06 Apr 2005 13:52 GMT2
Anyone got ANY idea whet to look for here?
The dashboard "bulb failure" light has just started to show on my 156
1.8 SportWagon.  At first it only went on while braking, but by the
time I was able to inspect the lights it was on permanently.
