Many weeks ago my 156 refused to open the central locking. Unlocked it with the key (I've got the red key system) and the alarm went off. After much slamming of doors and fiddling with the key it eventually worked OK, and never bothered me again.

I've just had the 3 year service and MOT carried out on my 147 1.6 Lusso. The official line from my dealer is that the belts and tensioner are inspected at this time, but as the car has only done 23500 miles, it was a bit of a shock to be told that they needed replacement!

On the intermittent wipe setting the wipers on my GTV only stutter across the screen in short moves until the wipers have been on for some time. All other wiper functions work as expected. Any suggestions guys?

OK, tried the local paper, no interest. Its a T reg silver 156 1.8 basic model, done 118K miles so a bit on the high side, advertised at a reasonable 1995. One slightly damaged bit of bodywork (door sill) Any ideas of any specialist places I should maybe be advertising it?

The near-side rear light on my 156 is glowing constantly, even when the ignition is switched off. With the ignition on, the bulb warning light on the dash comes on. When the lights are switched on, the warning light goes out and the bulb operates normally.
