I have got increasing amount of bits of kit that use the cigarette
lighter socket as a power source (mobile phone, PDA etc etc), but in a

Just joined the club and brought my first alfa. Very impressed already,
only had it since saturday. I would like to know how to keep it running
the fine way it is now. It has 90,000 miles on the clock and had its
cambelt changed at 55,000. Ive read there may be upcoming problems ...

Friend has a 156 1.6 (49K on the clock) which has started emitting a

I had a clutch failure at 70,000 mls on my Alfa 147JTD
The friction plates are still ok but the pressure bearing failed.
I know the early JTD's had a problem and Alfa replaced it

engine!!!), nowadays I drive a 145 1.4 boxer (more economic ;-)), but

I have a 2003 147 2.0 TS which will be 2 years old at the end of the
month. Last year around this time, I had it serviced with the 12k
service, it had done 3k miles.

I'm wondering if anyone can help me in a battle with Alfa Romeo UK. A
pressure sensor failed in the clutch actuator on my 156 Selespeed
causing it to be just a huge hunk of metal with an engine in it. Starts
fine but a red light mocks any attempt to engage a gear. No problem,
