Black stuff29 Apr 2006 19:37 GMT15
OK... I want no lectures about how I should have done my research before
buying a car with dimply black stuff, and I don't want anyone ranting at me
when I go on to mention that our nearest Halfords is 25 miles away (and no
doubt someone will even check the locations of all ...

156 Front Bumper Removal26 Apr 2006 23:49 GMT6
I'm looking to replace the headlight washer stop valve but the thing
resides somewhere behind the black grill on the lower part of the
front spoiler.
The grill is riveted in place (damn!) and because the pipe runs in
Buy or not to buy 147 2.0 SS?26 Apr 2006 19:55 GMT3
I found Alfa 147 2.0 Selespeed, year 2002, 42.000 Mls.
Since I own 146 1.6TS I am well aware of all pros and cons
for a secondhand Alfa. The only thing that I am affraid of is
a selespeed gearbox. I heard it is not so reliable. Has anyone

expect 147 prices to fall with the release of the Brera ??

How much?!18 Apr 2006 23:45 GMT38
A bit of an announcement: I've sold my 156 after 3.5 years with it. Tough
decision, but the other half found the family car, a 406 estate, too big. So
I got her an Audi A2 (great car by the way), and I'm taking on the 406.
Also, as pointed out elsewhere, I'm expecting 156 values to ...
60,000mile Service on 156 2.0 Ts Veloce18 Apr 2006 22:30 GMT4
Took the opportuinty to have the timing belt done, plus the full 60K
miles service (100Km?) including spark plugs.
Needed new back brake pads and disks, and new handbrake cables.
Just over £800.  Car feels like brand new!  I think this was good Value
Anyone tried an air induction kit on a 156?18 Apr 2006 15:45 GMT7
I`m not a boy racer, honest, but.............
I have a 5 year old 2.0 156 and I am considering fitting either a K&N or a
BMC air induction kit. Both manufacturers make some pretty bold claims about
BHP increases on there websites but would like to hear from owners who may
