Is a loose plastic undertray common on the 156? Mine has been hanging down
for a few thousand miles. I have to approach speed humps slowly then
accelerate over them to lift the front of the car!
Is it an expensive fix at an Alfa dealer?
Sparkplug torque27 Sep 2007 18:15 GMT11
Anyone know what the torque wrench setting for the 2L TS plugs are?
Started the 120K service and can't find this anywhere!
Thanks
Just noticed a clover leaf...27 Sep 2007 13:32 GMT3
Checking the oil on my JTS and just noticed a clover leaf picture on the
handle of the dip stick - made me smile. Never spotted it before (4 years!)
and just though I would tell everyone!
Reliability ratings year by year25 Sep 2007 21:33 GMT3
I am interested in reliability ratings for Alfas from 2000 till today,
mostly interested in 156 and 166 models. Almighty Google is not giving
me anything serious... Any alfistas here can point me to the right
resource?
156 alarms24 Sep 2007 11:23 GMT4
I am cursed.
Today my alarm on the V6 will not disarm. The doors lock and unlock fine
from the key, but the hazzards do not flash and the warning LED on the
dash remains on. It sounded for about 15 minutes as I was driving back
147 52 Plate22 Sep 2007 08:21 GMT13
i am looking at buying a 52 plate 147 1.6TS Lusso from a local garage.
It is showing 50K with main dealer history. I will probarbly get it
for about £4500 which doesn't seem too bad. Area there any major
service items coming up at this kind of mileage that I need to be
Cloverleaf and WTCC14 Sep 2007 23:57 GMT7
A bit quiet here lately ..
So to get the ball rolling again.. A question.
Who is a member of the "cloverleaf" club run by alfa?
And if not why not?
Re that 51 plate Spider08 Sep 2007 18:37 GMT4
Its a full Lusso and he wants £7000 for it. Couple of small dings and some
very minor wear on mohair hood.
Full ASH, just had full set of belts
Ahhh if I only had the money.
Just a tad iffy?06 Sep 2007 09:33 GMT5
If you're going to run a scam, at least do it properly...
...unless it's a cunning double-bluff: "I'm so stupid, I couldn't possibly
rip you off."

Whats it worth?: 51 plate spider05 Sep 2007 23:25 GMT11
2.0 TS silver, 61K FASH, Elec roof etc etc.
My mate has just taken it in and is standing looking at it scratching his
head as to what price to sell it for! LOL

Alfa 166 - Central Locking broke04 Sep 2007 21:21 GMT9
I run a 2003 2.5 V6 166, I went to use the car today, tried to open the
doors today via the key fob and although the alarm beeped and lights flashed
as normal there was no clunk of the central locking (unlocking or locking).
I now have to lock all the doors manually via the key.
Power windows/stereo 156 Sportwagon04 Sep 2007 10:58 GMT2
Anybody have any ideas about a couple of gremlins I am experiencing
with my 2005 1.9 JTD?
With my windows, they stop working if one of the front doors is opened
when the ignition (engine) is on. The only way I can then operate them

Whats up with the MI5 idiot???02 Sep 2007 15:59 GMT3
We who have ALfas have our own problems...  His obvious paranoia is trivial
in comparison.
Officially on my block list now.
