Is a loose plastic undertray common on the 156? Mine has been hanging down for a few thousand miles. I have to approach speed humps slowly then accelerate over them to lift the front of the car! Is it an expensive fix at an Alfa dealer?

| Just noticed a clover leaf... | 27 Sep 2007 13:32 GMT | 3 |
Checking the oil on my JTS and just noticed a clover leaf picture on the handle of the dip stick - made me smile. Never spotted it before (4 years!) and just though I would tell everyone!

| Reliability ratings year by year | 25 Sep 2007 21:33 GMT | 3 |
I am interested in reliability ratings for Alfas from 2000 till today, mostly interested in 156 and 166 models. Almighty Google is not giving me anything serious... Any alfistas here can point me to the right resource?

| 156 alarms | 24 Sep 2007 11:23 GMT | 4 |
I am cursed. Today my alarm on the V6 will not disarm. The doors lock and unlock fine from the key, but the hazzards do not flash and the warning LED on the dash remains on. It sounded for about 15 minutes as I was driving back

If you're going to run a scam, at least do it properly... ...unless it's a cunning double-bluff: "I'm so stupid, I couldn't possibly rip you off." http://tinyurl.com/2df4ko

| Alfa 166 - Central Locking broke | 04 Sep 2007 21:21 GMT | 9 |
I run a 2003 2.5 V6 166, I went to use the car today, tried to open the doors today via the key fob and although the alarm beeped and lights flashed as normal there was no clunk of the central locking (unlocking or locking). I now have to lock all the doors manually via the key.

Anybody have any ideas about a couple of gremlins I am experiencing with my 2005 1.9 JTD? With my windows, they stop working if one of the front doors is opened when the ignition (engine) is on. The only way I can then operate them

We who have ALfas have our own problems... His obvious paranoia is trivial in comparison. Officially on my block list now.
