Tire wear and ABS30 Dec 2007 16:10 GMT8
I just got a call from my dealer that the tire profile on my rear
tires is only 1 and 3 millimeters. Since I do not drive a lot
(anymore), I opted for replacing the 1mm tire only.
Now the interesting part: my dealer told me that I should replace both

Last time I had a look at replacing the radio I couldn't find any convenient
accessory 12v power.  Seems to me there's only ignition or permanent 12v.
Permanent is obviously needed to retain the memory but ideally I'd like
145/146 gearbox ratios28 Dec 2007 02:21 GMT9
i can't find specs for boxer engines' gearboxes? Plenty specs for TS but
none for boxer.
I would like to see differences, if any, between 1.3, 1.6 and 1.7 16v
gearbox ratios.
156 Engine Temperature27 Dec 2007 17:19 GMT14
Hi I've just bought a 156 JTS Sportwagon and the temperature gauge hardly
moves unless I run the engine while stationary.  I imagine that the
thermostat is stuck open.  Is this a comon problem and is it easy to
replace?

Personally, I'd have done that conversion with an Integrale lump
instead, but other than the Ford <spit> engine, it looks bloody well
done.

Air flow meter TS11 Dec 2007 15:25 GMT5
I'm convinced that the AFM on my 166 TS is faulty - classic symptoms.
Truly dumb question since I've had very little hands-on with the 166 (there
are those who would say that's not the reason for my asking truly dumb
questions) - but where *is* the air flow meter.
