GOT to get my  Fiero running again30 Dec 2003 18:31 GMT2
Folks-
some of you may remember me. It's been about 3 years since I posted,
and in the interim I've been doing a lot of work on my Jeep and my
S-series Blazer. Just about done with those projects, and I'm wanting
Muffler on 84 Indy (0/1)30 Dec 2003 16:30 GMT9
I was wondering if the muffler for a V6 will fit my 84 Indy Fiero. It
has a 2.5 inline 4cyl with the dual outlet. The local muffler shop
does not have a listing for my car, and won't look to see if the V6
model will fit.

between model years. If this is true would anyone who this info or has done
it confirm it for me please as this is something I am interested in doing to

Lost 1st and 2nd gear.25 Dec 2003 17:27 GMT3
Tonight, when I wanted to go for a drive, it suddenly was not possible
anymore to shift 1st and 2nd gear. Earlier today, I had no problem at
all. The manual shifter has an 'unusual feel' in the left-most
position. Where the first gear should be, there's now 3rd gear. (upper

'86 2.5L engine "R"22 Dec 2003 17:20 GMT1
I've got the dubious distinction of replacing the above engine, a thrown rod.
My question is simple: would any pre DIS ('87) 2.5L engines fit from other GM
products providing the replacement is a VIN "R" ? I'm figuring they would be
but wanted to inquire to be certain. Thanks for ...

1985 Pontiac Fiero GT - Backup Lights not working - Could it be backup light/neutral switch?20 Dec 2003 01:24 GMT2
Both backup lights on my 1985 Fiero GT are not lighting up when the car is
in reverse. The car has an automatic transmission and a "backup
light/neutral switch" mounted on the transmission where the transmission
shift cable mounts to the transmission.

Temperature Issues18 Dec 2003 01:55 GMT2
So I picked up the 87GT that I mentioned earlier (Thanks to everyone for
their advice!) and am now in the process of trying to correct a few issues.
The tough part is that I'm not particularly mechanically knowledgable, but
I'm learning! :-) Anyways, I'm having a problem with my ...
