84 Fiero Master Cylinder25 May 2005 04:10 GMT2
Would anyone know if there are any replacements for a 84' Clutch Master
cylinder. I am unable to find a replacement or a kit. We are looking for
a small valve really that goes in side of the cylinder. The only option
we have to to buy an entirety new M/C. Any advice would be ...
fiero no start?24 May 2005 03:57 GMT6
the fiero will start pretty easily in the mornings, when it's cold, but
it'll stall, or drive it a mile or so and it'll stall, and won't restart, if
you floor it, it sounds like it's firing but doesn't start.  it has good
fuel pressure at the check valve, good spark, where should ...

86 GT 2.8 Fuel pump problem23 May 2005 17:34 GMT7
I have an 86 Fiero GT 2.8 V6 5speed manual.  I bought it about a year
ago with 120,000 miles on it and have put another 20,000 on it since.
It is a great car and I love it to death.  That said, I have had my
share of problems.
Any thoughts on the Solstice? other new Pontiacs?15 May 2005 22:06 GMT8
I'm just trying to bring a little life back to the group, so forgive me
if this has been discussed to death in other forums. I don't go to other
Fiero forums, so I wouldn't know.
Anyway, I like that Pontiac has been given a new sporty car, but I'm not

is, but Im pretty sure they are all connected:
headlight conversion??10 May 2005 04:41 GMT3
Hello all. I'm new here. So new that I don't actually own a Fiero but I'm
thinking of getting one. I saw one with the classic pontiac disease of no-
pop pop headlights. Has anyone seen or know of a place that sells a
conversion to make them non-pop up. Perhaps like a little bubble ...
adding a sunroof07 May 2005 14:29 GMT2
Another theoretical question. I've always had an image in mind on a non-
opening sun roof. I wouldn't even need a fabric door to cover it. Just a
glass panel tinted rather dark in the middle of the roof. I imagine yu
could seal it better and I personally don't open them anyway.
Timing Chain07 May 2005 04:34 GMT1
V-6 has a timing Chain.. it is a real bugger to change while the engine is
in the car, but it is doable.  Usually the little rubber covered aluminum
tensioners give way and the belt becomes slack.  I changed mine out at about
150 K
Timing belt or chain?05 May 2005 02:07 GMT2
Hi All.  Bought my first Fiero 2 years ago and loving it.  86GT, 4spd.
Having driven a prelude for years, I got used to changing its timing
belt.  I need to know whether the Fiero has a timing belt, or timing
chain?  And how often should it be replaced??
