tires for sale30 May 2004 18:30 GMT2
high performance tires for a car that no longer exists!!
No rims. The 4 'new' Michelin tires are just that (they may have been on
the car for a couple of weeks, max.)  The 3 Pirellis have one or two
seasons wear.  I know the Michelins were @ $400 each.

Cleaning White Wall Tires27 May 2004 06:22 GMT2
Can anyone recommend what I can use to clean white wall tires?  I'm
always having to wipe the brake dust and such from the tires, but I
find that some cleaning agents actually remove the "white" from the
tires, as well.

Joe posted a load of irrelevant 0-60 and 1/4 mile stuff.
Joe and to all others who this may concern, the acceleration performance of
a road vehicle is one of the minor criteria to be considered in the
selection process.

"Hogan's Heros" car?10 May 2004 22:22 GMT2
Both Colonel Klink and General Burkhaler, (possible sic), on the old American
TV situation comedy had a very unusual (or at least it seemed to me at the
times I watched the show!), car or cars! The unusual part was that it had *6
wheels", (arranged as on the American 2 1/2 ton ...
1928 tudor wiring?08 May 2004 05:15 GMT6
I'm interested in the simple electrical system wiring on a completely stock
1928 Ford Tudor.  I've got the spring loaded plug that goes into the
distributor, but the cable has been broken off of it.  (it is always
touching the metal inside in the "unretracted" position).  as I ...
