| mystery fenders | 29 Oct 2004 07:45 GMT | 1 |
I have some fenders that look to me like they date to the 20's or 30's. I'd like the know what they are from. I've posted pictures of them at http://www.weedwheels.com/parts. This is a page that I'm in the process of adding stuff to, so if you may want to check back later

| 74 Cutlass with starting problem | 26 Oct 2004 02:47 GMT | 13 |
I drive as my primary car a 1974 Olds Cutlass. I am only the second owner and it has 66,000 miles on it. It had less than 40,000 on it when I got it a few years ago. It is the envy of many young people in my town!

Looks like I just bought myself another car... a '64 Stude convertible, comes with NOS front fenders. Now fenders on Studes are made in a real retarded manner, there is a vertical brace at the rear edge with a tiny little gap between it and the outer skin. Guess where they all ...

| Holley Carb adjustment question | 21 Oct 2004 01:17 GMT | 2 |
Its a holley 600 cfm with vacuum secondary. Performer intake. The only adjustment screws I see are for the idle and there is one screw on each side of the metering block up front. Idles fine but stumbles when you get into the throttle. Squirters are working fine.

| Almost lost my '58 Edsel yesterday... | 17 Oct 2004 19:19 GMT | 31 |
Goddamn Precision Tune! I took my '58 Edsel in there earlier this year for a tune. They were recommended to me as having experience with other classic cars, two of which I know the owners.

| Cleaning carburetors | 16 Oct 2004 05:51 GMT | 12 |
What is the most effective way to clean a carburetor for a do-it-yourselfer? Is there one cleaner out there to soak a unit in that stands out above the rest? Thank you
