With today's high gas prices I had an idea. I have a relative that has
an old four door straight eight Buick in her garage. I wanted it since
I was a kid but she wouldn't give it up, even though the trans shot

I went out to start my 1959 Impala after winter storage, and the
battery was dead.
When putting a jumper cable on it, I noticed the Oil light was on even
when the ignition was in the "Off" or "Lock" positions. The car

I've been buying old cars for years (never restored vehicles, I'm talking
"been sitting in the barn since the 60's" old car)
I have never obtained a vehicle and not been able to get it to run within
two days, AS LONG AS I FOLLOW SET RULES!!!!

I've got an older (probabaly 1960's) SUN ignition scope/dwell
meter. Its a great piece of equipment, but I can't get it to trigger
properly. Does anyone have the manual and/or schematic for one
of these? A copy would be great. I did try to contact SUN but

I have a 350 that has excessive lifter noise that will not go away.
It almost sounds like the lifters just do not get enough oil or
something.
Have tried adjusting 1/4 & 1/2 & 3/4 & 1 full turn after clacking

I have attached the Service Manual illustration of my 1955 Nash
Rambler distribtor which is giving me trouble. It then gives
instrution folr maintenace, but does not show parts of the distributor
it refers to
