Well I would like to upgrade my 4wd and buy a new one ! A Patrol, Landcruiser or Pathfinder but I would like the top end range 4wd with all the toys, but they do not come in Manual just auto. What are u experience with Auto 4WD would u buy one ? I tow my boat do a lot of driving ...

After many questions to this forum, lots of good advice following by much umming and ahhing on my part, I settled on an '02 Patrol 3.0 Turbo Series III as the best car, given my criteria, for our round Australia trip. I pick it up on Wednesday.

'City Cycle'. 'Highway Cycle'. From experience, it appears that manufacturers do their testing with two tablespoons of fuel in the tank and a Melbourne Cup jockey in the drivers seat.
