89/90 4.2L Diesel, Patrol, Hi Roof, after market turbo, overheating problem30 Nov 2005 20:16 GMT40
This vehicle appears to have been set up for towing, with trailer brakes
etc.
It has front and rear lockers, snorkel, Donaldson cyclopac airfilter, and a
luxon after market turbo.
Camping trailer29 Nov 2005 13:04 GMT9
I was hoping to keep it, but now it really does need to go. Long story
involving a back pay dispute with my wifes work, that would have enabled us
to keep it.....
Any interest here before I bung it on Ebay?

I am trying to get 12v switched from the ignition under the bonnet of a
LC100 gxl. Lots of spare plugs but I have no idea what they are for. I want
to connect a relay to my trailer auxilliary power supply so that it is off
when the car is off and I need 12v switched through the ...

No Daylight Saving for Qld26 Nov 2005 01:01 GMT90
There is now a petition to the Qld Government opposing the introduction of
"daylight saving".
If you live in Queensland and don't see a need to adjust your  clocks to
suit the southerners then sign this petition.

Rock rails / slider bars18 Nov 2005 14:09 GMT4
Does anyone know the legality of installing rock rails/slider bars to a
vehicle (2005 Jeep TJ) in the state of Western Australia? Would such a
modification affect ADR compliance, or anything of the sort?
Thanks,
Pity the poor bloody Brits.18 Nov 2005 10:09 GMT3
Of course they bought it on themselves when they elected the vile B'liar and
New Labour and though his days may be numbered now there is nothing to say
the next shower will be any better. Whatever happened to the "bone deep
desire to be left alone, the tolerance of eccentricity ...
I've got a THinking problem16 Nov 2005 13:47 GMT7
It started out innocently enough. I began to think at parties now and then
to loosen up. Inevitably though, one thought led to another, and soon I was
more than just a social thinker.
I began to think alone -- "to relax," I told myself -- but I knew it
Online Store NOW OPEN16 Nov 2005 08:14 GMT8
Before anyone starts.
Yes this is commercial advertising.
No I do not consider this spam, I consider it word of mouth of getting the
massage through.

Another little slug for 4wd buyers15 Nov 2005 08:44 GMT14
It seems that if you buy a new 4wd over 2 tonnes (new LC100 is 2.3tonnes) in
NSW then you are not entitled to the three year holiday from rego
inspections that private vehicles under 2 tonnes enjoy. I wonder what genius
in the RTA came up with this little gem.
More toyota testament15 Nov 2005 05:40 GMT1
STERLING, Alaska - A pickup pulled from the bottom of the Kenai River still
runs despite being submerged for four months.
Larry Hansen, 66, of Sterling bought a new truck in the meantime, so he's
giving the 1984 Toyota - which needs a bit of cleaning - to his grandson.
Think Twice Before You Honk at Granny13 Nov 2005 03:57 GMT1
Remember the old joke: What's the difference between a Porcupine and a
Mercedes owner?
Watch as this nice old granny makes her statement to the Mercedes owner.
