Mountain bike rider fined for speeding21 Apr 2004 07:35 GMT71

A guy gets fined for doing 64kph in a 40kph School Zone and thinks it's
unfair because there were no kids around.
It cost him $250 and 4 points off his drivers licence.
Bit more for the 4WD thread :-)21 Apr 2004 06:51 GMT13
My Brother who owns the VR Statesman is having problems getting onto
his 11 acres near Cooroy, as the track is always wet, boggy etc.
I suggested that he buy another 4WD like the Sahara Turbo Diesel he had
back in 86, and drove all over the outback of Australia.
Dickie Seats21 Apr 2004 04:21 GMT11
Seen an old car done up into a rod yesterday, it had a dickie seat with 2

seatbelts fitted to them etc.

around tyre shops is a pain in the arse and doesn't get many good
results.  anything between 185-225 width and 50-65 profile should be

What's on your list?19 Apr 2004 23:53 GMT13
Just answering the hypothetical engine question, and noted that I've
got a heap of things that need to be done to THIS project before I
start mucking about with other things...
The list includes (and I'll try to do these in the order that they'll

On Keeping left (Fwy's/Mwy's) not 'middle'19 Apr 2004 18:05 GMT11
As most NSW drivers who have read the 'NSW Road Users Handbook' (new edition
at final stages) know, drivers are encouraged to use the leftmost lane,
gradually moving to the centre and right lane/s as necessity dictates, then
back again once you have passed the slower traffic.
