Interesting story in SMH (page 3) today about a motorist getting off a charge of doing 70 in a 40 school zone. In NSW the schools are normally posted with "Speed Limit 40 (between hours X and Y) School Days".

I bought a XF for $200 last year on gas, Air and Mags, got it reged, also picked up a louvre which Supercheap wanted $190 for, I got it for $2.00 Drives well, has some rust, also smokes on startup but very economical

Three times my RCV has failed to start - first time it came good after 15 minutes. Second time Not until NRMA came and fiddled with the fuses. Third time I removed and replaced fuses 20 and 24 and fiddled with a few others and it came good.

The news is reporting that a car involved in street drags ran off the road and collected bystanders and parked cars. The bit I like best, is that one"vitim" is complaining that cops pulled his car over to defect him, as he tried to drive himself to hospital.

For the record, I negociated and bought a new car from a dealer on the internet (mostly email). My first classical contact was when I rang up to put down a deposit. Went into the dealer for the first time to pick up the car.
