Wrong gear led to tow burn-out

Drove a 2000 model WRX today, Mannnnn !!! does it go.
Unbelievable acceleration, and grip.
Put the foot down in 4th gear, and it throws you into the seat.
Put your foot down in first, and it feels like your neck is going to snap,
