In today's Smelly, there is a guy who bought a car from auction, only to
find later that it was stolen and he lost both car and money. I thought
there was some sort of protection when buying from dealers and auction
houses? Anyone know what loophole this is?

I've just bought a '97 N15 Pulsar from a car yard to replace my
old '83 Subaru. The GA16DE engine with timing chain (not belt)
was a big selling point for me.
Come time to pay, I offered either a personal cheque or EFTPOS.

If i dont get 82L of LPG in my 68L tank, i dont get 560km
I *thought* LPG tanks where super strong & kinda "bomb-proof".....NOT

Does anyone here do the Palmer St ratrun? It's getting more and more
congested lately. Either less people are using the tunnel or more people
have found out you can turn left at the right turn only sign without getting
booked. I did it with a cop car behind me last week ;)
