| Wacky Canadians - Suzuki Swift police cars! | 20 Apr 2006 01:22 GMT | 28 |
Was just watching a TV programme from around 1994, and I found it hilarious that the State Troopers in Canada used little Suzuki Swift police cars (which happen to be badged as Pontiacs). I took a screen grab: http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?ffedd5bdd4.jpg

| Question on oil prices. | 19 Apr 2006 22:38 GMT | 5 |
If rising crude oil prices is what's forcing the price of petrol up, why isn't it forcing the price of engine oil up? Over the last 4 years, the price for 20 litres of the engine oil I buy has gone up a grand total of 1 dollar (it's not synthetic either).

| Is it normal for brake pads to last this long? | 19 Apr 2006 17:10 GMT | 21 |
Decided I'd take advantage of the Easter break and do a general service on the car myself, rather than paying someone to do it. As part of that, I checked the brake pads. This was the first time in the 7 years and 300,000 odd k's I've done in the commodore since I bought it, that ...
